CEREC restorations
Crowns and other restorations designed and made digitally, often in a single visit.
Overview
CEREC is a chairside digital system. Instead of a traditional impression, your tooth is scanned, the restoration is designed on screen and then milled from a ceramic block.
For suitable cases this means a durable, tooth-coloured crown, inlay, onlay or veneer can be completed in one appointment, with a precise fit.
May be a good fit if you…
- You have a cracked, worn or heavily filled tooth
- You prefer to avoid traditional impression material
- You would like to complete a restoration in fewer visits
